Founded in 1965, Little Friends originated as a collaborative effort among teachers, parents, and advocates who established a school catering to children with special needs. Over the years, Little Friends has evolved into a comprehensive human services agency, offering a range of support for individuals with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as social-emotional needs.
Today, Little Friends stands as a trusted resource in Illinois, delivering essential services across nine counties and serving 50 school districts. Anchored for Life can certainly attest to the quality of their resources, guidance and cooperation to educate those interested in exploring the necessities of housing individuals with disabilities.
